The LACC brings together a community touched by pancreatic cancer. Too often, this has been a community of those who have lost someone. Last year, we showed a different side of this disease and honored more than a dozen survivors.
Leslie Fischer, 3rd year team captain of Team Go Fisch, was among them. Leslie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in July 2013 and has been in treatment since. On October 25th, Leslie and others will show us “that you can live with this disease, have a positive attitude and enjoy life.” Leslie’s fight reminds us that you can hope AND help in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
We look forward to seeing you at Warner Center Park as we change the face of pancreatic cancer and drive research towards a cure!
